Steve's Sustainable Solutions
At Noctua Coffee, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Through "Steve's Sustainable Solutions," we donate our spent coffee grounds and chaff to local farmers, who use them to enrich their soil and grow healthy crops. Our burlap coffee bags find a second life with beekeepers, providing a natural material for their hives. By minimizing waste and supporting our community, we're brewing a better future for the planet.
Stream of Hope
Poseidon, our Ethiopia Harrar coffee, named after the Greek god of drought & water. This coffee is sourced from an area in Ethiopia where access to clean water is severely limited. To help address this, we're donating 10% of the profits from Poseidon to Stream of Hope, a charity dedicated to providing clean water to rural Ethiopian communities. Stream of Hope aims to alleviate the burden on women and girls who walk miles daily to collect often contaminated water, enabling them to pursue education and healthier lives.
World Services for the Blind
We are allocating 20% of Theia profits to World Services for the Blind. This cause is important to us due to their aid to Uncle Dean during his vision loss. World Services for the Blind stands out for its all-inclusive rehabilitation center for the visually impaired.
