Notes: Fruit, Citrus, Chocolate

This medium roast coffee offers a delightful combination of citrus, fruit, and traditional chocolate with a hint of smokiness that is typically found in Dominican coffee. It was selected in memory of our beloved family member, Dean Ingalls, and 20% of the profits are donated to World Services for the Blind, an organization that greatly impacted Uncle Dean's life as he coped with vision loss. Watch his inspiring story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cph6vjbgvs4/.

The Ramirez Estate, located in the Dominican Republic, is a family-owned farm run by the third generation. With over 400 workers living and working on the property, they are able to earn 300% higher wages than the Fair Trade Standard. Since the Ramirez family bought the land in the early 1990s, the farm has become one of the most environmentally-progressive and socially-conscious in the world. They use various methods to recycle materials from coffee bean processing, such as converting coffee cherry parts into natural gas through fermentation for power and recycling and filtering used water before returning it to water systems. Additionally, the cherry pulps are used as fertilizer for nearby farms. The farm also gives back to its community by building schools and providing resources for education, making it a truly exceptional and impactful establishment.
